Dear partners:
Today, after six or nine years, we say good bye, but is a good bye that doesn't mean a 'see you never', but it goes filled with an eternal 'see you soon' that reflects hope, illusions, wishes, dreams and, why not? fears too.
'What are you scared about?' somebody asked me few days ago. I think I'm scared about the same thing as all of my partners: I'm scared about everything that comes.
That if those will be seven or eight new subjects at school with new and different teachers; that if I will make friends or not; that if I don't pass a test; if I don't understand my changes in this time of adolescence; if I lose a bus when I go back home from the Secondary... if this, if that... And I would keep making a list of fears, but I think there is something more important that make up for everything: Grow up, giving a step to a new stage, that it doesn't have to be bad, but that also, I think it will be a stage of new learnings, both mentally and for the daily life; a new stage with new people that could be our guides, without leaving away the lessons of the poeple whom today we leave in the past, of our partners that maybe some of them became new friends; without forgetting the craftiness of Marco, the advices of Monica, Ana Gaby's nobility, the endless laughters of Mickey, Chantal's maturity, the unity of the group, the anger of Luis Ca, the goals of Maury, or each one of the characteristics of the people who today I say a 'good bye' dressed up of a 'see you later', or a 'see you later' with a mask of a 'see you always', because I'm sure that we will for ever keep each other in our hearts and minds.
This night, partners, friends, confidents, twin souls; this night finishes which six years ago started; this night, with a long hug and lot of tears will be sealed many days of games, of songs, of basic operations, of tests and naive fights, days of triumphs and failures, of tears and laughs, of efforts, screams and punishments, of nerves, happiness and fears.
This night also we define if our friendship is over or if it would be stronger.
From this night, when we leave this place, we'll be out in the world, but we are not helpless because we have a steel armour that are our values, and great weapons polished with lessons, the same we obtained in this Institution which has prepared us to go and fight in a battle camp.
And for this reason, today, by the name of all my classmates, is important for me to show the gratitude, principally, to our parents because thank them we received this education.
To our teachers, because they were our guides through the tme, for the lessons that they have left in our minds and the formation of our souls.
To our Principals, because they were always looking for our academic success and all the personnel of the school for being part of our personal growth, as humans and students.
Thank you, because of you, someday we'll be women and men full of success and happiness in our souls.
Thank you everybody, but thanks even more to God who brings us life and makes everything possible.
See you always friends, see you always in our hearts. Let's stand up now in triumph's sign, of goals and new desires. Let's stand up to give us the deserved ovation.
Good bye, see you later; let's keep walking the way, because life doesn't finish here! Life just starts if we put our heart on it.
